Ephrata crushes Othello 62-29

Ephrata’s Avery Mickelsen led all scorers with 20 points as the Tigers beat Othello 62-29 in a game at Ephrata High School.”

Mickelsen’s points came on 6 field goals and 8 of 9 free throws during the game.

Othello was led by Macy Hampton’s 16 points and Cassandra Gonzalez added 4. Othello fell to 1-4 overall while Ephrata improved their record to 5-2.

Othello’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Jan. 6 at 5:45pm versus Ellensburg. Ephrata will travel to East Valley High School on Tuesday Jan. 2 at 5:45pm to play East Valley.
