Wapato’s Jade Garza led all scorers with 19 points as the Wolves beat PROSSER Girls 37-36 in a game at Wapato High School.”

Garza’s points came on 8 field goals and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

PROSSER Girls was led by Marissa Cotres’ 9 points and Asia Olivarez added 6. PROSSER Girls fell to 6-0 overall while Wapato improved their record to 7-1.

PROSSER Girls’ next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 2 at 5:45pm versus Ellensburg. Wapato will travel to Ephrata High School on Saturday Jan. 13 at 5:45pm to play Ephrata.
