Lakeside’s Claire O’connor led the way with 12 points as the Lions beat Rainier Beach Vikings 40-34 in a game at Hazen .

O’connor ‘s points came on 6 field goals during the game.

Jamariana Smith added 10. Rainier Beach fell to 0-3 overall while Lakeside improved their record to 8-1.

Rainier Beach’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 17 at 7:00pm versus Garfield. Lakeside will travel to Chief Sealth on Friday Jan. 3 at 5:30pm to play Chief Sealth.
