Stanwood cruises by Mead 65-45

Stanwood’s ASHLEY ALTER led all scorers with 29 points as the Spartans beat Mead 65-45 in a game at CVHS.”

ALTER’s points came on 7 field goals, 4 three pointers and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Mead was led by Erica Nessan’s 11 points and McKenna Russell added 9. Mead fell to 4-5 overall while Stanwood improved their record to 0-0.

Mead’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 5 at 7:15pm versus Rogers.
