Sunnyside Grizzlies defeat Eastmont Wildcats 69-50 in Washington high school basketball game

Sunnyside’s Ashlee Maldonado led all scorers with 35 points as the Grizzlies beat Eastmont Wildcats 69-50 in a game at Sunnyside High School.

Maldonado’s points came on 8 field goals, 4 three pointers and 7 of 11 free throws during the game.

Kaitlyn Cox added 14. Eastmont fell to 10-11 overall while Sunnyside improved their record to 2-1.

Eastmont’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Dec. 1 at 2:00pm versus Bothell. Sunnyside will host University on Saturday Feb. 24 at 12:00am.
