Wapato defeats Toppenish 54-36

Wapato’s Janealle Sutterlict led all scorers with 20 points as the Wolves beat Toppenish 54-36 in a game at Wapato High School.”

Sutterlict’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Toppenish was led by Jennifer Johnson’s 12 points and Ariana White added 9. Toppenish fell to 2-4 overall while Wapato improved their record to 8-1.

Toppenish’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 12 at 5:45pm versus Ephrata. Wapato will travel to Ephrata High School on Saturday Jan. 13 at 5:45pm to play Ephrata.
