Toppenish’s Jennifer Johnson led the way with 17 points as the Wildcats beat Ellensburg 53-49 in a game at Ellensburg HS.”

Johnson’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

Ellensburg was led by Kalli Fahey’s 17 points and Leah Stueckle added 8. Ellensburg fell to 6-10 overall while Toppenish improved their record to 6-9.

Ellensburg’s next game is scheduled to be played at Ephrata HS on Friday Jan. 26 at 5:45pm versus Ephrata. Toppenish will host Othello on Friday Jan. 26 at 5:45pm.
