Wapato’s Janealle Sutterlict led all scorers with 16 points as the Wolves beat Burlington-Edison 58-38 in a game at Mount Vernon HS.”

Sutterlict’s points came on 6 field goals and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Burlington-Edison was led by Katie king’s 13 points and Allyson ray added 7. Burlington-Edison fell to 1-1 overall while Wapato improved their record to 19-3.

Burlington-Edison’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Feb. 28 at 9:00am versus North Kitsap. Wapato will host East Valley on Thursday Mar. 1 at 12:15pm.
