Lakeside’s Hallie Jensen led all scorers with 10 points as the Eagles beat Newport 39-29 in a game at Newport High School.”

Jensen’s points came on 5 field goals during the game.

Newport was led by Hadley Stratton’s 12 points and Faith Rosen added 8. Newport fell to 1-1 overall while Lakeside improved their record to 1-0.

Newport’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Feb. 2 at 5:46pm versus Medical Lake. Lakeside will travel to on Thursday Feb. 2 at 5:45pm to play Newport.
