Ballard Beavers defeat Lakeside Lions 49-38 in Washington high school basketball game

Ballard Guard Kate Rutledge led all scorers with 16 points as the Beavers beat Lakeside Lions 49-38 in a game.

Rutledge’s points came on 1 field goal, 4 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Alex Friends added 10. Lakeside fell to 5-5 overall while Ballard improved their record to 6-5.

Lakeside’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Jan. 5 at 7:00pm versus Garfield. Ballard will host Nathan Hale on Saturday Jan. 5 at 5:45pm.
