Central Valley Guard Tomekia Whitman led all scorers with 20 points as the Bears beat University Titans 56-53 in a game.

Whitman’s points came on 7 field goals and 6 of 7 free throws during the game.

Carol Ann Edwards added 9. University fell to 12-4 overall while Central Valley improved their record to 12-2.

University’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Jan. 18 at 5:30pm versus Gonzaga Prep. Central Valley will host Shadle Park on Friday Jan. 18 at 5:30pm.
