Heritage Timberwolves defeat Battle Ground Tigers 48-42 in Washington high school basketball game

Heritage’s Katherine Penenueta led all scorers with 22 points as the Timberwolves beat Battle Ground Tigers 48-42 in a game at BGHS.

Penenueta’s points came on 7 field goals and 8 of 9 free throws during the game.

Megan Geiger added 15. Battle Ground fell to 5-14 overall while Heritage improved their record to 6-11.

Battle Ground’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Wednesday Jan. 30 at 7:00pm versus Camas.
