Sumner Spartans beat Puyallup Vikings 71-65 in Washington high school basketball game

Sumner’s Catelyn Deaver led all scorers with 26 points as the Spartans beat Puyallup Vikings 71-65 in a game.

Deaver’s points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 9 of 15 free throws during the game.

Grace Marvin added 14. Puyallup fell to 5-5 overall while Sumner improved their record to 6-6.

Puyallup’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Jan. 11 at 7:00pm versus Bellarmine Prep. Sumner will host Curtis on Friday Jan. 11 at 7:00pm.
