Lakewood Point Guard Myriam Frechilla led all scorers with 16 points as the Cougars beat Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks 37-31 in a game at Lakewood.

Frechilla’s points came on 5 field goals and 2 three pointers during the game.

Mariah Summers added 8. Marysville Pilchuck fell to 0-1 overall while Lakewood improved their record to 1-1.

Marysville Pilchuck’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Dec. 1 versus Bellingham. Lakewood will host Sultan on Saturday Dec. 1
