Chewelah Cougars beat Selkirk Lady Rangers 44-35 in Washington high school basketball game

Chewelah’s Bailey Smith led the way with 13 points as the Cougars beat Selkirk Lady Rangers 44-35 in a game at Chewelah.

Smith’s points came on 3 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Bree Dawson added 6. Selkirk fell to 1-0 overall while Chewelah improved their record to 1-1.

Selkirk’s next game is scheduled to be played at Chewelah on Saturday Dec. 1 at 6:00pm versus Chewelah. Chewelah will travel to Spangle on Tuesday Dec. 4 at 6:00pm to play Liberty.
