Colville Indians defeat Chewelah Cougars 50-39 in Washington high school basketball game

Colville’s Katelynn Lewis led all scorers with 16 points as the Indians beat Chewelah Cougars 50-39 in a game at Chewelah.

Lewis’ points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Bailey Smith added 8. Chewelah fell to 5-3 overall while Colville improved their record to 3-4.

Chewelah’s next game is scheduled to be played at Kettle Falls Middle School - Christmas Tournament on Thursday Dec. 27 at 1:00pm versus Odessa. Colville will host Riverside on Friday Jan. 4 at 7:15pm.
