Chewelah Cougars cruises by Mary Walker Chargers 58-14 in Washington high school basketball game

Chewelah’s Bailey Smith led all scorers with 18 points as the Cougars beat Mary Walker Chargers 58-14 in a game at Chewelah.

Smith’s points came on 6 field goals and 2 three pointers during the game.

Naomi Turner added 4. Mary Walker fell to 2-7 overall while Chewelah improved their record to 8-3.

Mary Walker’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 3 at 6:00pm versus Tekoa Rosalia. Chewelah will travel to NW Christian - Colbert on Friday Jan. 4 at 6:00pm to play Northwest Christian School.
