Chewelah Cougars cruises by Mary Walker Chargers 58-14 in Washington high school basketball game

Chewelah’s Alyssa Fitzgerald led all scorers with 18 points as the Cougars beat Mary Walker Chargers 58-14 in a game at Chewelah.

Fitzgerald’s points came on 4 field goals, 3 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Naomi Turner added 4. Mary Walker fell to 2-7 overall while Chewelah improved their record to 7-3.

Mary Walker’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 3 at 6:00pm versus Tekoa Rosalia. Chewelah will host Mary Walker on Wednesday Jan. 2 at 6:00pm.
