Chewelah Cougars crushes Wilbur-Creston Wildcats 55-30 in Washington high school basketball game

Chewelah’s Bailey Smith led all scorers with 17 points as the Cougars beat Wilbur-Creston Wildcats 55-30 in a game at Wilbur.

Smith’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 10 free throws during the game.

Callie Haden added 8. Wilbur Creston fell to 2-4 overall while Chewelah improved their record to 9-5.

Wilbur Creston’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 18 at 10:00am versus Kettle Falls. Chewelah will host Davenport on Friday Jan. 18 at 6:00pm.
