Davenport Gorillas cruises by Chewelah Cougars 65-23 in Washington high school basketball game

Davenport’s Darby Soliday led all scorers with 17 points as the Gorillas beat Chewelah Cougars 65-23 in a game at Chewelah.

Soliday’s points came on 7 field goals and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Kennedy Robison added 8. Chewelah fell to 9-6 overall while Davenport improved their record to 3-1.

Chewelah’s next game is scheduled to be played at Kettle Falls on Saturday Jan. 19 at 4:30pm versus Kettle Falls. Davenport will travel to Kettle Falls High School on Friday Jan. 25 at 10:00am to play Kettle Falls.
