St. George's Dragons crushes Chewelah Cougars 51-26 in Washington high school basketball game

St. George’s’ Lydia Berquist led all scorers with 19 points as the Dragons beat Chewelah Cougars 51-26 in a game at Spokane.

Berquist’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 6 of 6 free throws during the game.

Natalie Rose Sheppard added 5. Chewelah fell to 9-8 overall while St. George’s improved their record to 3-3.

Chewelah’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Jan. 26 at 4:30pm versus Wilbur Creston. St. George’s will host Kettle Falls on Friday Feb. 1 at 6:00pm.
