Davenport Gorillas cruises by Chewelah Cougars 58-23 in Washington high school basketball game

Davenport’s Janaye Wilkie led all scorers with 16 points as the Gorillas beat Chewelah Cougars 58-23 in a game at Davenport.

Wilkie’s points came on 2 field goals and 4 three pointers during the game.

Bailey Smith added 9. Chewelah fell to 10-9 overall while Davenport improved their record to 5-1.

Chewelah’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 1 at 6:00pm versus Northwest Christian School. Davenport will travel to on Thursday Dec. 26 at 8:00pm to play Colton.
