Granger Spartans edges Connell Eagles 42-38 in Washington high school basketball game

Granger’s Jayleen Vasquez led all scorers with 17 points as the Spartans beat Connell Eagles 42-38 in a game at Connell High School.

Vasquez’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 6 of 10 free throws during the game.

Joy Thompson added 9. while Granger improved their record to 1-0.

Connell’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Nov. 27 at 7:00pm versus Granger. Granger will travel to Warden High School on Friday Nov. 30 at 6:00pm to play Warden.
