Granger Spartans defeat Toppenish Wildcats 56-44 in Washington basketball game

Granger’s Naya Roettger led all scorers with 21 points as the Spartans beat Toppenish Wildcats 56-44 in a game at GHS Competition Gym.

Roettger’s points came on 7 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Cloe Peters added 7. Toppenish fell to 0-1 overall while Granger improved their record to 2-2.

Toppenish’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 7 at 5:45pm versus Selah. Granger will host Mabton on Friday Dec. 7 at 6:00pm.
