Granger Spartans edges Zillah Leopards 52-48 in Washington basketball game

Granger’s Jayleen Vasquez led all scorers with 16 points as the Spartans beat Zillah Leopards 52-48 in a game at GHS Competition Gym.

Vasquez’s points came on 2 field goals, 3 three pointers and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Addison Krueger added 10. Zillah fell to 9-4 overall while Granger improved their record to 10-4.

Zillah’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 29 at 6:00pm versus Granger. Granger will host Goldendale on Saturday Jan. 12 at 6:00pm.
