Nooksack Valley Pioneers defeat Sehome Mariners 48-29 in Washington high school basketball game

Nooksack Valley Guard Tehya Moore led all scorers with 17 points as the Pioneers beat Sehome Mariners 48-29 in a game at Sehome High School.

Moore’s points came on 2 field goals, 4 three pointers and 1 of 3 free throws during the game.

Jessica Melvin added 6. Sehome fell to 5-8 overall while Nooksack Valley improved their record to 8-4.

Sehome’s next game is scheduled to be played at Lynden Christian High School on Tuesday Jan. 15 at 7:15pm versus Lynden Christian. Nooksack Valley will host Lakewood on Friday Jan. 11 at 7:15pm.
