Nooksack Valley Pioneers defeat Sultan Turks 56-45 in Washington high school basketball game

Nooksack Valley Guard Maya Galley led all scorers with 15 points as the Pioneers beat Sultan Turks 56-45 in a game at Sultan High School.

Galley’s points came on 3 field goals and 3 three pointers during the game.

Lindsey Fleming added 10. Sultan fell to 6-12 overall while Nooksack Valley improved their record to 12-6.

Sultan’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 29 at 6:45pm versus South Whidbey. Nooksack Valley will travel to Burlington-Edison High School on Tuesday Jan. 29 at 7:15pm to play Burlington Edison.
