Yelm Tornados edges North Thurston Rams 75-72 in Washington high school basketball game

Yelm Forward Kaitlin Jewell led the way with 19 points as the Tornados beat North Thurston Rams 75-72 in a game at Yelm High School.

Jewell’s points came on 4 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Rokki Brown added 17. North Thurston fell to 1-0 overall while Yelm improved their record to 5-1.

Yelm will travel to Shelton High School on Friday Dec. 7 at 7:00pm to play Shelton.
