Yelm Forward Kaitlin Jewell led the way with 15 points as the Tornados beat Central Kitsap Cougars 73-32 in a game at Yelm High School.

Jewell’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Alexandra Neumann added 7. Central Kitsap fell to 1-5 overall while Yelm improved their record to 6-3.

Central Kitsap’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Dec. 19 at 7:00pm versus Peninsula. Yelm will travel to Tumwater High School on Monday Dec. 17 at 7:00pm to play Tumwater.
