Capital Cougars defeat Yelm Tornados 55-48 in Washington high school basketball game

Capital’s Nicole Lindblom led all scorers with 20 points as the Cougars beat Yelm Tornados 55-48 in a game at Yelm High School.

Lindblom’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 5 of 7 free throws during the game.

Kaitlin Jewell added 11. Yelm fell to 6-6 overall while Capital improved their record to 8-5.

Yelm’s next game is scheduled to be played at North Thurston High School on Friday Jan. 11 at 7:00pm versus North Thurston. Capital will travel to Central Kitsap High School on Thursday Jan. 10 at 7:00pm to play Central Kitsap.
