Peninsula Seahawks beat Yelm Tornados 73-57 in Washington high school basketball game

Peninsula’s Linsey Lovrovich led all scorers with 24 points as the Seahawks beat Yelm Tornados 73-57 in a game at Yelm High School.

Lovrovich’s points came on 5 field goals, 3 three pointers and 5 of 6 free throws during the game.

Kaitlin Jewell added 11. Yelm fell to 8-7 overall while Peninsula improved their record to 12-3.

Yelm’s next game is scheduled to be played at Lower Columbia Community College on Monday Jan. 21 at 4:00pm versus Mark Morris. Peninsula will host Capital on Wednesday Jan. 23 at 7:00pm.
