Gig Harbor Tides crushes Yelm Tornados 64-41 in Washington high school basketball game

Gig Harbor’s Brynna Maxwell led all scorers with 35 points as the Tides beat Yelm Tornados 64-41 in a game at Gig Harbor High School.

Maxwell’s points came on 6 field goals, 5 three pointers and 8 of 8 free throws during the game.

Bayleigh Harder added 11. Yelm fell to 11-8 overall while Gig Harbor improved their record to 15-4.

Yelm’s next game is scheduled to be played at Capital High School on Thursday Jan. 31 at 7:00pm versus Capital. Gig Harbor will travel to Peninsula High School on Thursday Jan. 31 at 6:30pm to play Peninsula.
