West Valley Eagles crushes Cheney Blackhawks 73-43 in Washington high school basketball game

West Valley Wing Nevaeh Sherwood led the way with 16 points as the Eagles beat Cheney Blackhawks 73-43 in a game at Cheney High School.

Sherwood’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Maggie Smith added 14. Cheney fell to 5-9 overall while West Valley improved their record to 9-5.

Cheney’s next game is scheduled to be played at Cheney High School on Tuesday Jan. 15 at 7:00pm versus West Valley. West Valley will travel to Pullman High School on Friday Jan. 18 at 7:00pm to play Pullman.
