PROSSER Girls Mustangs edges Wapato Wolves 57-53 in Washington basketball game

Prosser Girls’ Marissa Cotres led the way with 15 points as the Mustangs beat Wapato Wolves 57-53 in a game at Prosser High School.

Cotres’ points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Mc Kayla Goudy added 10. while Prosser Girls improved their record to 1-0.

Wapato’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Dec. 7 at 5:45pm versus Ephrata. Prosser Girls will travel to on Tuesday Dec. 18 at 5:45pm to play Selah.
