Connell Eagles edges Ephrata Tigers 36-31 in Washington high school basketball game

Connell’s Madison Smith led all scorers with 24 points as the Eagles beat Ephrata Tigers 36-31 in a game.

Smith’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 9 of 10 free throws during the game.

Mya Buchert added 9. Ephrata fell to 0-3 overall while Connell improved their record to 0-1.

Ephrata’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Thursday Dec. 6 at 6:00pm versus Wilson Creek.
