PROSSER Girls Mustangs beat Toppenish Wildcats 78-65 in Washington basketball game

Prosser Girls’ Marissa Cotres led all scorers with 17 points as the Mustangs beat Toppenish Wildcats 78-65 in a game at Prosser High School.

Cotres’ points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 5 free throws during the game.

Kassandra Garza added 11. Toppenish fell to 1-5 overall while Prosser Girls improved their record to 6-1.

Toppenish’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Dec. 18 at 12:15pm versus Wapato. Prosser Girls will travel to on Tuesday Dec. 18 at 5:45pm to play Selah.
