Liberty Lancers edges Northwest Christian School Crusaders 47-44 in Washington high school basketball game

Liberty’s Maisie Burnham led all scorers with 17 points as the Lancers beat Northwest Christian School Crusaders 47-44 in a game at Northwest Christian- Colbert.

Burnham’s points came on 5 field goals and 7 of 11 free throws during the game.

Natalie Smith added 12. Northwest Christian School fell to 2-1 overall.

Northwest Christian School’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 4 at 6:00pm versus Chewelah. Liberty will travel to on Wednesday Dec. 19 at 5:30pm to play Newport.
