Mount Vernon Bulldogs beat Kamiak Knights 60-50 in Washington high school basketball game

Mount Vernon’s Olivia Kuipers led all scorers with 19 points as the Bulldogs beat Kamiak Knights 60-50 in a game at Kamiak High School.

Kuipers’ points came on 6 field goals and 7 of 8 free throws during the game.

Sloane Loudenback added 12. Kamiak fell to 3-11 overall while Mount Vernon improved their record to 5-9.

Kamiak’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Jan. 18 at 7:15pm versus Jackson. Mount Vernon will host Lake Stevens on Friday Jan. 18 at 7:15pm.
