Medical Lake Cardinals crushes Newport Grizzlies 45-25 in Washington high school basketball game

Medical Lake’s Ellie Haas led all scorers with 12 points as the Cardinals beat Newport Grizzlies 45-25 in a game at Newport High School.

Haas’ points came on 6 field goals during the game.

Lilly Hughes added 9. Newport fell to 0-2 overall while Medical Lake improved their record to 7-2.

Newport’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 14 at 5:30pm versus Medical Lake. Medical Lake will host Freeman on Thursday Jan. 31 at 4:00pm.
