Woodstock North defeats Westosha Central 30-20

RB Ed Flores had 127 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help Woodstock North to a 30-20 win over Westosha Central on Friday night.

The Thunder also received impressive efforts from QB Ryan Zinnen who rushed 12 times for 98 yards and RB Elijah Pena who rushed 12 times for 79 yards and 1 touchdown.

Westosha Central’s Zachary Burzawa threw for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns, Samy Greco picked up 24 rushing yards and James Gehrke had 168 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Woodstock North improve to 1-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Woodstock North will take on the Antioch Sequoits at home on Friday August 31 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
