Holmen Vikings beat Reedsburg Beavers 7-0 in WI high school football game

Holmen High School quarterback Bennett Schild racked up 54 passing yards to help the Holmen Vikings to a 7-0 win over the Reedsburg Beavers on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received impressive efforts from running back John Faherty who rushed 6 times for 20 yards and running back Tay Parcher who rushed 2 times for 10 yards.

Reedsburg’s quarterback Sawyer Mittelstaedt threw for 12 yards, running back Cormac McGowan picked up 51 rushing yards and tight end Kallen Barker had 12 receiving yards.

The win helps Holmen improve to 5-0 on the season while Reedsburg falls to 4-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Holmen will face off against the Tomah Timberwolves at home on Friday September 25. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Reedsburg travels to Baraboo, WI to face off against the Baraboo Thunderbirds on Friday September 25. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
