Holmen Vikings crushes Tomah Timberwolves 42-6 in WI high school football game

Holmen High School quarterback Bennett Schild racked up 60 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide the Holmen Vikings to a 42-6 win over the Tomah Timberwolves on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received major efforts from fullback Boston Popp who rushed 7 times for 42 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Landon Barg who rushed 9 times for 41 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Tomah’s quarterback Quinn Gerke threw for 64 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Kian Vernon picked up 54 rushing yards and wide receiver Silas Cram had 55 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Holmen improve to 6-0 on the season while Tomah falls to 0-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Holmen will face off against the Baraboo Thunderbirds at home on Friday October 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Tomah travels to La Crosse, WI to take on the La Crosse Central Red Raiders on Friday October 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
