SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Terrance Arceneaux scored 10 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter to lead Beaumont United to a 62-57 victory over Mansfield Timberview in the UIL Class 5A boys basketball state championship on Saturday.
It's the second consecutive state title for Beaumont United.
Arceneaux, a Houston commit, filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists and 3 blocks. Kayde Dotson led Beaumont with 17 points, Trealyn Porchia scored 14 and Wesley Yates had 12.
Mansfield Timberview's Jared Washington led all scorers with 20 points. Donovan O'Day had 18 points and Chendall Weaver racked up 14 points and 10 rebounds.
