Photos: Catching fire late, Lynden Christian halts King's repeat bid in the WIAA Class 1A state title game
Down by 16 in the second half, the Lyncs sink a barrage of 3-pointers to get past King's, 61-58

YAKIMA - Trailing by 11 points with six minutes remaining, things looked bleak for Lynden Christian in the Class 1A boys championship game against No. 1 and defending state champion King's.
But then the Lyncs started hitting from the outside, including two 3-pointers from Jamison Hintz, and they came all the way back to stun the Knights, 61-58, on Saturday night in the SunDome.
Tyler Sipma had a team-high 16 points for the Lyncs. Hintz added 15, and Andrew Hommes - the tournament MVP - chipped in with 14.
