Parker Mushinski returned to the mound Wednesday for his fourth rehab outing at Sugar Land. The lefty relieved Peter Solomon at the start of the sixth inning but left the contest having faced only three batters.

Mushinski jumped ahead in the first two counts 1-2 and 0-2 but issued back-to-back walks to Reno Aces' Stone Garrett and Seth Beer. The lefty worked a 1-2 count to Cooper Hummel who grounded into a double play.

With Garrett at third, Mushinski was given the hook after 16 pitches, seven of them for strikes. Jon Olczak relieved Mushinski for a third time in his rehab assignment but surrendered a two-run home run to Dominic Miroglio which drove home an inherited runner from Mushinski.

According to Baseball Savant, the 26-year-old generated one whiff on six swings from the Aces. Mushinski's spin rate continued to show decreased rpm compared to his yearly average while his velocity remained the same or even better on select pitches.
