While on the eve of college football, its never too early to get a look at the upcoming college basketball season, which is set to roll out another crop of NBA Draft hopefuls.

Last season's Final Four was highlighted by teams that were stacked with draft prospects. Michigan had its trio of eventual lottery picks, Arizona and UConn each had two first-rounders and Illinois saw one player drafted in the top-five. More often than not, teams are fueled by players that will eventually make waves in the big leagues.

Below, we'll rank the three best collegiate teams entering the season that are chock full of 2027 NBA Draft prospects:

3. Illinois

Illinois saw one of its best-ever season last year, coasting to the Final Four behind eventual top-five pick Keaton Wagler and a host of other contributors. Now, they’ll enter the season with several draft hopefuls.

The Illini don’t yet have any locked-in lottery picks, though they certainly have the numbers to potentially push for one. All of David Mirkovic, Andrej Stojakovic, Quentin Coleman, Tomislav Ivisic and Zvonimir Ivisic are sure to get NBA Draft consideration in the upcoming season.

With a reportedly lesser class, they’ll all have the potential improve their stock.

2. Florida

The Gators have been one of the top teams in the nation for years now, dating back to their national championship-winning season years ago. And they’re returning even some of the production they saw in that title-winning year.

Forward Thomas Haugh was certain to be a first-round selection at last year’s draft, but opted for a final return to Florida in hopes of another award-winning campaign.

Flanking Haugh will be center Rueben Chinyelu and Alex Condon, who’s draft campaign’s halted somewhat last season, though they’re still highly impactful college players.

1. Duke

Duke has both quality and quantity in terms of NBA Draft prospect, boasting plenty of returning production in players like Patrick Ngongba, Cayden Boozer and Dame Sarr, as well as signees, transfers and more.

Cameron Williams was the team’s most recent five-star signing that could work his way into the top-10 or even higher as a lengthy forward, and the Blue Devils also nabbed one of the top transfers in the country in John Blackwell.

To cap everything off, Duke also nabbed Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje, a five-star prospect who could very well end up the No. 1 pick. Though he won’t be eligible for the upcoming draft, and is likely to spend two full seasons in Durham.
