Phoenix Suns Fans Shower Kevin Durant With Thunderous Applause in Home Opener

In this story:
PHOENIX -- We've seen Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant in uniform before.
After initially being acquired at the trade deadline, Durant was forced to wait out the remainder of his sprained MCL before playing just three games for Phoenix - all on the road.
Durant was supposed to make his home debut against the Oklahoma City Thunder three weeks ago before he slipped during pregame warmups. Things appeared to be fine after he finished his workout with no visible problems, yet minutes before opening tip he was ruled out.
What was later revealed to be a sprained ankle sidelined Durant out for three more weeks, which leads us tonight: His home debut in front of a packed Footprint Center.
Durant went through warmups with a buzzing electricity in the air. Fans were chanting his name left and right, and the only absent presence was a wet spot on the floor.
Then, the moment everybody was waiting for finally arrived: Durant was officially introduced in the starting lineups prior to tipoff:

Friday March 21 vs. Denver
Tuesday April 4 vs San Antonio
Thursday April 6 vs. Denver
Sunday April 9 vs. Los Angeles (Clippers)

Friday April 7 at Los Angeles (Lakers)
