Devin Booker, Suns Blow Past Mavericks

The Phoenix Suns have now won seven straight games.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns extended their winning streak to seven games as they defeated the Dallas Mavericks in 132-109 fashion.

The win was propelled by Devin Booker's 46 points, who took control in the second half and never allowed the Suns to look back despite trailing by as much as 16.

As expected, there were fireworks from the jump between two teams that simply don't like each other. Six technical fouls were handed out through the stretch of action.

Dallas emerged out to a quick double digit lead in the first and dominated play for the first twelve minutes, emerging ahead 34-25 after a strong start from Doncic.

As expected, some extra-curricular activity broke out between the two sides, though it came earlier than anticipated. You can read more about that below:

The Suns eventually found their footing and trailed by just one, 58-57, heading into the break. Phoenix went on a 17-4 run to close the half.

The third quarter saw the Suns carry that momentum over, taking the lead and extending it to as much as 28 points in the period. Booker scored 22 in the third alone to put Phoenix up 100-78 heading into the fourth.

Dallas threatened to cut into the lead, though Phoenix kept them at bay for the rest of the way, leveling up the season series 1-1.
