Since Christmas Day, Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker has been out with a groin injury. In total, he's played just 29 games as we approach the All-Star break.

Booker has slowly but surely getting himself ready to again touch the court, and last week a rumored date of Tuesday Feb. 7 vs. Brooklyn was targeted.

It looks like that'll happen.

Today, the Suns confirmed that Booker is expected play against the Nets. Head coach Monty Williams is likely to put him on a minutes restriction similar to what the team has done with Cam Johnson's return from a meniscus tear.

Booker initially injured his groin three games prior to their date with Denver on Christmas, but the Kentucky product made an effort to push through and play. Just four minutes into action against the Nuggets, Booker was pulled and we haven't seen him since.

Despite an ugly stretch, Phoenix has bounced back and regained their form in perfect time for Booker's arrival as they've won their last eight-of-ten heading into Tuesday.

Booker will return to action with 27.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists averaged previously.

The Suns take on the Nets at 5:30 pm MST and can be viewed on TNT.
