Suns Trade Dario Saric, Second-Round Pick for Thunder PF Darius Bazley

In this story:
The Phoenix Suns have already made a major splash ahead of the NBA's Feb. 9 trade deadline, but they're not quite done.
After acquiring Kevin Durant and TJ Warren for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and four first-round picks, the Suns have now dealt Dario Saric and a second-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for power forward Darius Bazley according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
Bazley is 22-years-old and averaged 5.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 15 minutes off the bench for Oklahoma City.
The move comes after Saric was seemingly finding his footing after a long year of recovering from a torn ACL in the 2021 NBA Finals. There was hope that the Suns could once again see the versatile big man return to form, yet Phoenix needed help on the wings.
His 6-9 frame will be utilized off the bench for the Suns. Think of him as more defensive than a scorer.
Darius Bazley is a 22-year-old, 6-foot-9 wing shooting 40% from 3 this year for OKC. Low volume, and only averaging 5.4 PPG in 15.4 MPG though. Suns definitely needed a wing, so they're taking a flier here

Saric quickly became a fan-favorite in Phoenix, but the Suns needed to add more depth after losing Bridges, Johnson and Crowder in exchange for Durant.
The second-round pick Phoenix is sending over isn't specified at this time.
